Visitors are advised to park at the Hündlebahn or Imbergbahn parking lots. From the Hündlebahn parking, follow the road to the former parking area near the falls (approximately a 50-minute walk). From there, it's a steep 15-20 minute walk down to the falls. Parking at Hündlebahn costs €5 for a day ticket.

    You can reach Buchenegger Wasserfälle by bus from Oberstaufen. Take bus line 95 from Oberstaufen to the "Imbergbahn" stop (approximately a 2.8-kilometer walk). Alternatively, take bus line 39 from Oberstaufen or Immenstadt to the "Hündlebahn" stop (approximately a 4.2-kilometer walk). Bus transport is free with the Oberstaufen GÄSTEKARTE. A single bus fare without the card will cost approximately €3.

  • Walking

    From the Hündlebahn parking lot, follow the signs towards Buchenegg Waterfalls. The walk is approximately 4.2 kilometers and takes about 55 minutes along the road, plus a 20-minute descent to the falls. The trail from the parking area to the waterfalls is steep and can be slippery, so wear appropriate footwear.
