Forum Würth Chur: A Fusion of Art and Industry

The Forum Würth Chur offers a unique blend of art and commerce, located within the Würth International headquarters on Aspermontstrasse. Opened in 2002, the Forum provides a platform for international art and culture, drawing primarily from the extensive Würth Collection. Reinhold Würth began assembling the collection in the 1960s, and it now includes over 18,000 works. The collection's focus lies on art from the 20th and 21st centuries, with an emphasis on sculptures, paintings, and graphic art. Temporary exhibitions, thematically or artistically focused, are held several times a year, complemented by guided tours and diverse supporting programs. These exhibitions aim to engage the public and enrich Chur's cultural landscape. Beyond the interior exhibition spaces, the Forum Würth Chur features a sculpture park that was established in July 2007. This outdoor area showcases works by renowned artists such as Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely, Bernhard Luginbühl, Not Vital, and Carlo Borer. The sculpture park provides an opportunity to experience art in an open-air setting. Cultural events, including jazz and classical concerts, comedy nights, and gospel music shows, are regularly held at the Forum Würth Chur, adding another dimension to its appeal.
