    From Näfels, follow the signs west to Oberseetal or Obersee. The road is a narrow, steep, 7km ascent. Exercise caution as it is mostly a single-lane road with limited passing places. Parking is available in a dirt lot near Berghotel Obersee. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can fill up quickly during peak season.

    Public Transport

    While there is no direct bus service to Obersee , you can take a train to Näfels. From there, the remaining 7km to Obersee can be covered by hiring a taxi. Taxi costs may vary, so confirm the fare before commencing the journey. Alternatively, a steep 75-minute hike from Näfels will also get you to Obersee.
