    From Lindau-Insel train station, exit and walk straight towards the harbor. The promenade starts at Alfred-Nobel-Platz 1, a short walk from the station. The path is well-marked and easily accessible. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Lindau city bus to the 'Inselhalle' bus stop, which is directly in front of the entrance of the island. From there, the promenade is a short walk towards the lake. A single bus fare costs approximately €2-3. With the Echt-Bodensee-Card guest card, travel on the Lindau city bus is free.

  • Taxi

    From anywhere on Lindau Island, a taxi to Alfred-Nobel-Platz 1 will be a short ride. Taxis are readily available, and the cost should be around €11-19 for a 5-10 km trip. Several taxi services operate in Lindau, including City Taxi Lindau (+49 8382 5555).

  • Parking

    If driving, parking on Lindau Island is limited. Use P4 Parkhaus Inselhalle, which costs €2 per hour from 08:00 to 20:00, €1 per hour from 20:00 to 23:00, and a flat night fee of €2 from 23:00 to 08:00. Alternatively, park on the mainland at P1 Blauwiese (€5 per day) or P2 Ehemaliger Bauhof (€7 per day) and take the city bus to the island. The bus is free with the Echt-Bodensee-Card.
