Getting There

• Walking

  From Lindau's main train station, the Tourist-Information is directly opposite the station exit, merely steps away. If you are arriving by boat, disembark at the harbor; the Tourist-Information is a short walk towards the train station. No costs are involved.

• Public Transport

  If arriving at Lindau-Reutin train station (on the mainland), take the Lindau city bus (Line 5) to the Inselhalle stop. The Tourist-Information is a short walk from the Inselhalle. A single fare is approximately €2-3, but travel is free with the Echt Bodensee Card.

• Taxi

  From Lindau-Reutin train station, a taxi to the Tourist-Information will cost approximately €11-19, depending on traffic and the specific taxi company. The ride is about 5-10 minutes. Several taxi services operate in Lindau, including City Taxi Lindau (+49 8382 5555).

• Parking

  If driving, be aware that parking on Lindau Island is limited and can be expensive. Consider parking at P1 Blauwiese or P2 Ehemaliger Bauhof on the mainland and taking the Lindau city bus to the island. Alternatively, the Inselhalle P4 parking garage offers parking on the island, but it can be costly. Parking at Karl-Bever-Platz (P3) costs €1.80 per hour from 08:00 to 20:00. Inselhalle P4 costs €2.00 per hour from 08:00 to 20:00. A day ticket at Therme Lindau is €7.00.
