From Jonava bus station, take bus number 1 or 2 towards Kaunas. The buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Žemaičių pl. 75' stop. Once you disembark, the 9th Fort of the Kaunas Fortress is a short 5-minute walk. Head south on Žemaičių pl. and follow the road until you see the entrance to the fortress on your left.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Jonava. Head southeast on Maironio Street towards Kauno Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Žemaičių Street. Turn left onto Žemaičių Street and follow it for about 4 kilometers. The 9th Fort will be on your right-hand side, along with clear signage leading to the entrance.
