Getting There

Walking
From Trakai Island Castle, exit the castle grounds and head toward Kęstučio g. You will walk approximately 500 meters along the lakeside path. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kęstučio g. Turn right on Kęstučio g. and walk for another 300 meters. The Trakai Island and Peninsula Castles Reserve will be on your left. This walk will take around 10-15 minutes.

If you are driving, exit the parking area near Trakai Island Castle and head south on Kęstučio g. After about 0.5 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit to stay on Kęstučio g. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer. The entrance to the Trakai Island and Peninsula Castles Reserve will be on your left. There is usually parking available, but be mindful of parking fees which may apply.

To reach Trakai Island and Peninsula Castles Reserve via public transportation, walk back to the main bus stop near Trakai Island Castle. Take bus number 2 towards Trakai Railway Station. The ride is approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Trakai' stop, which is the closest stop to the reserve. From there, it's a 5-minute walk back toward the Kęstučio g. You will find the reserve on your left after about 300 meters.
