If you're driving from anywhere in Lake Pontchartrain, head south toward Interstate 10 (I-10). Depending on your exact location, you may take local roads to connect to the interstate. Once on I-10, merge onto the interstate heading west towards New Orleans. Take exit 234B toward Claiborne Ave. Continue on Claiborne Ave until you reach the intersection with City Park Avenue. Turn left onto City Park Avenue, and then take a right onto Victory Ave. The New Orleans Botanical Garden will be on your left at 5 Victory Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119. There is parking available, but be aware that some fees may apply depending on the time of day.

Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transportation, you can take the RTA bus line 91 (Jackson-Esplanade). Board the bus at a nearby stop in Lake Pontchartrain and ride towards the City Park area. Disembark at the stop closest to City Park Avenue. From there, it is a short walk to the botanical garden. Make sure to check the RTA website for the latest schedules and fare information, as a small fee will be required for the bus ride.

Alternatively, you can take the historic streetcar line (St. Charles line) to Canal Street, then transfer to the City Park/Museum District streetcar.
