Public Transit
From the center of Slidell, walk to the nearest bus stop on 1st Street and wait for the Jefferson Transit bus route 104 towards New Orleans. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you reach the bus terminal in New Orleans, transfer to the Streetcar line. Take the Canal Street Streetcar towards the French Quarter. Get off at the stop at Elysian Fields Avenue and walk east on Elysian Fields until you reach the intersection with Homer Plessy Way. The 5 Press Gallery will be on your left at 5 Homer Plessy Way.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Slidell. Start your journey heading southwest on Gause Blvd toward the Tammany Trace, a scenic bike trail. Follow the trail until you reach the bridge leading into New Orleans. Continue onto the streets of New Orleans, following the bike lanes towards the Marigny neighborhood. When you reach Elysian Fields Avenue, turn left and head towards Homer Plessy Way. The gallery is located at 5 Homer Plessy Way, just a short distance down the street.

Walking
If you're up for a long walk, you can head southeast from Slidell. Walk along Gause Boulevard toward the Tammany Trace and follow it down to the bridge leading into New Orleans. Once across the bridge, walk straight onto St. Claude Avenue. Continue on St. Claude until you reach the intersection with Elysian Fields Avenue. Turn left onto Elysian Fields and continue walking until you reach Homer Plessy Way. The 5 Press Gallery will be on your left at 5 Homer Plessy Way.
