If you are in the Slidell area, you can start your journey by heading to the Slidell Amtrak Station located at 100 Front St, Slidell, LA 70458. From there, take a train to New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal (about a 1 hour ride). Once you arrive at the terminal, exit the station and head southwest on Loyola Ave. Continue straight onto Poydras St. for about 0.5 miles until you reach S. Peters St. Turn left onto S. Peters St. and walk for about 0.2 miles. Then, turn right onto Chartres St. and walk for another 0.5 miles. The BK Historic House and Gardens will be on your left at 1113 Chartres St.

From Slidell, you can take the Greyhound bus service to New Orleans. Head to the Greyhound bus station located at 2000 Gause Blvd E, Slidell, LA 70461. Once you arrive in New Orleans, disembark at the Greyhound station located at 1001 Loyola Ave. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus. To walk, head southwest on Loyola Ave. Continue straight onto Poydras St. for about 0.5 miles until you reach S. Peters St. Turn left onto S. Peters St. and walk for about 0.2 miles. Then, turn right onto Chartres St. and walk for another 0.5 miles. The BK Historic House and Gardens will be located on your left at 1113 Chartres St.
