From any location in Slidell, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the #94 bus towards New Orleans. After about 45 minutes to an hour, you will arrive at the New Orleans bus terminal. From there, transfer to the #5 bus towards the French Quarter and get off at the stop on Chartres Street. The Ice House Bar is located at 1024 Chartres St, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Slidell. Head southwest on Gause Blvd E, then follow the signs to the Tammany Trace trail. Continue on the trail until you reach the I-10 bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road into New Orleans. Once you reach the French Quarter, navigate to Chartres Street, where the Ice House Bar is located at 1024 Chartres St.
