Expect to pay a small fee for park entry upon arrival.

For those using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse from Toliara to Ambalavao. The journey takes around 3-4 hours and costs approximately 15,000 MGA. Once in Ambalavao, you can find a local taxi-brousse heading to the entrance of Andringitra National Park. This final leg of the trip should cost around 5,000 MGA and take about 1 hour.
