Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from Betsiboka, head northeast on the main road (Route Nationale 6) towards Joffreville. The drive is approximately 40 km and will take around 1 hour. Follow the signs for Joffreville, and once you reach the town, continue to the coordinates 95M2+82J. You will see the entrance to Montagne D'Ambre National Park. Be aware that the road may be bumpy in some areas, so drive cautiously.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a 'taxi-brousse' (shared minibus) from Betsiboka to Joffreville. The taxi-brousse departs from the main station in Betsiboka and costs approximately 10,000 MGA (Malagasy Ariary). The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Joffreville, you can either walk the remaining distance to Montagne D'Ambre National Park (about 3 km) or hire a local taxi for around 5,000 MGA.
