Walking
From the center of Diego Suarez, head towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk along the avenue until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université. Turn left onto Rue de l'Université and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Once you arrive at the Baie de Sakalava, you will see signs directing you towards Sakalava Lodge, which is located in the Baie de Sakalava area. The lodge is situated along the beach, and you should be able to see it from the waterfront.

Bicycle
Start at the central market (Marché de Diego) and head towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Ride straight along this avenue for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université. Turn left onto Rue de l'Université and cycle towards the waterfront. As you approach the Baie de Sakalava, keep an eye out for signage indicating Sakalava Lodge. The lodge is located directly on the beachfront, making it accessible by bike.

From the central taxi-brousse station in Diego Suarez, take a taxi-brousse heading towards Antsiranana (also known as Diego Suarez). Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Baie de Sakalava. The journey typically takes around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Baie de Sakalava, walk towards the beach, and you will find Sakalava Lodge along the waterfront. Look out for the lodge's signage as you approach.
