Getting There

  • Car

    To get to Zahamena National Park from Ranomafana National Park by car, head north on Route Nationale 25 towards Ambositra. After approximately 50km, turn left onto Route Nationale 44 towards Moramanga. Continue on Route Nationale 44 for about 280km until you reach Moramanga. From Moramanga, continue on Route Nationale 44 for another 60km until you reach the town of Andasibe. In Andasibe, follow signs towards Zahamena National Park, which is located about 15km northeast of Andasibe.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse from Ranomafana National Park to Fianarantsoa. From Fianarantsoa, take another taxi-brousse to Ambositra. In Ambositra, transfer to a taxi-brousse heading to Moramanga. Once in Moramanga, take a taxi-brousse to Andasibe. From Andasibe, you can hire a local guide or driver to take you to Zahamena National Park, which is approximately 15km northeast of Andasibe.
