Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head south on Main Street. Walk past the Bar Harbor Town Pier and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and follow it for about 1.5 miles. You'll see the entrance to Acadia National Park on your right. Park your belongings at the visitor center and follow the signs to the Beehive Trailhead, which is located just a short walk from the visitor center.

If you are renting a bike, start from the center of Bar Harbor and cycle along the scenic Shore Path towards the east. After enjoying the views of the harbor, head back towards Main Street and turn left onto Route 3. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Acadia National Park on your right. The Beehive Trailhead is accessible from the visitor center, which is a short ride from the entrance.
