Getting There

Board the bus at any designated Island Explorer stop in Bar Harbor. Make sure to take the bus heading towards the 'Hulls Cove' route. Disembark at the stop closest to Old Farm, which is typically the 'Mount Desert Street' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.2 miles) heading southeast to reach Old Farm at 44.3747 latitude and -68.1930 longitude.   For those who enjoy walking, start from the center of Bar Harbor and take Main Street south. Continue onto Mount Desert Street (Route 3) for about 1.5 miles. This is a scenic route, and you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way. Be aware that parts of the walk may not have sidewalks, so use caution when navigating alongside traffic.
