Getting There

Bus
From Ogunquit, head to the nearest bus stop located on Ogunquit Main Street. Take the Coast Bus (Route 1) heading towards Hampton. The bus runs regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. Remain on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Hampton Beach stop. Once you disembark, walk toward NH-1A. Hampton Beach State Park will be directly ahead, just a short 5-minute walk.

Bicycle
If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Ogunquit. Start on Shore Road heading north, then turn onto Route 1A (also known as Ocean Boulevard). Follow Route 1A north for about 4 miles. The scenic ride will take you along the coastline. Look for signs for Hampton Beach State Park, which will be on your left. There is bike parking available at the park entrance.

Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the center of Ogunquit and head toward the Marginal Way. Follow the path along the coast until you reach the entrance of Ogunquit Beach. Continue walking north along the beach until you reach the end, then follow the coastline northward along Route 1A. It’s about a 2.5-mile walk and will take approximately 50 minutes. Hampton Beach State Park will be located to your right as you walk along the road.
