Walking
If you are starting from the South Portland Bus Terminal, walk south on Ocean Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and continue for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by a few local shops and restaurants. After crossing the intersection with Main Street, continue straight until you reach the entrance of Bug Light Park, where the South Portland Historical Society is located at 55 Bug Light Park. It will be on your right.

From the South Portland Bus Terminal, take the Metro bus line #21 towards 'Maine Mall'. Get off at the 'Bug Light Park' stop. From there, you will see the entrance to Bug Light Park directly in front of you. Walk into the park, and the South Portland Historical Society is located at 55 Bug Light Park, just a short walk ahead on the right.
