Walking
If you are in the Old Port area of Portland, start by heading southeast on Fore Street toward Silver Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Commercial Street. Turn left onto Commercial Street and walk along the waterfront. After a few minutes, you will see the Ocean Gateway Pier on your right. The Visit Portland, Maine Information Center is located at 14 Ocean Gateway Pier.

Public Transit (Bus)
To reach the Visit Portland, Maine Information Center using public transit, head to the nearest bus stop for the Greater Portland Metro. Take the Route 1 or Route 7 bus heading towards the downtown area. These buses operate frequently. Get off at the stop closest to Ocean Gateway Pier, which is usually around the Custom House area. From there, walk toward the waterfront on Commercial Street. The Information Center is located at 14 Ocean Gateway Pier, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental services in Portland. Start from the downtown area and head towards the waterfront.
