    If you are driving from Lilongwe, head south on the M1 highway towards Blantyre. After approximately 220 km, take the exit towards Thyolo. Continue on the road until you reach the junction with the Thyolo-Mulanje Road. Turn left and follow the signs towards Thyolo town. Once in Thyolo, look for the signs directing you to Satemwa Tea & Coffee Estate. The estate is located at W4W6+GXX, approximately 10 km from the town center. Be prepared for some dirt roads, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for better access.

    From Lilongwe, take a minibus to Blantyre, which departs frequently from the main minibus terminal. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Blantyre, transfer to a minibus heading to Thyolo. These minibuses are readily available at the Blantyre minibus station. After approximately 30-45 minutes, get off at the Thyolo town center. From there, you can hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to reach Satemwa Tea & Coffee Estate. It’s about a 10 km ride from Thyolo town, and the fare should be around 1,500 MWK for a motorcycle taxi.
