Car
If you are driving, start by heading south on the T15 road from the Thyolo Highlands area. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the T417 junction. Turn right onto the T417 road and continue for about 5 kilometers. Game Haven Lodge will be on your right, near the Bvumbwe Research Station. Look for the lodge signage along the road.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus from Thyolo to the Bvumbwe area. The fare is usually around 500 MWK. Once you arrive at Bvumbwe, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Game Haven Lodge, which is about 5 kilometers away. Taxis typically charge around 2,000 MWK for this short trip.

If you find yourself near Bvumbwe Research Station after taking public transport, you can walk to Game Haven Lodge. From the station, head east on the T417 road for about 5 kilometers. Be mindful of traffic as this road can be busy. Look for the lodge on your right-hand side.
