Getting There

From Kande Beach, head south on the M5 highway towards the town of Nkhotakota. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction for the B1 road. Turn left onto B1 and follow the signs toward Luwazi. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach a sign indicating Kavuzi Waterfall. Turn onto the gravel road leading to the waterfall. The last stretch is about 5 kilometers on a dirt road; keep an eye out for signs. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain. There may be a small parking fee at the waterfall entrance.

From Kande Beach, take a minibus (commonly known as a 'kombi') heading to Nkhotakota from the local bus station. The fare should be around 1,500 MWK.
