From Kande Beach, head north on the M5 road towards Nkhata Bay. This scenic drive will take you along the shores of Lake Malawi. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the town of Nkhata Bay, where you will see signs directing you to the Odiodi Greenbelt area. Turn left onto the road towards Nkhata Bay and follow the signs for approximately 5 kilometers. The Odiodi Greenbelt river location will be on your right-hand side, marked as 97XG+9F7, Nkhata Bay.
Public Transport (Minibus)
To reach Odiodi Greenbelt river from Kande Beach using public transport, look for a minibus heading to Nkhata Bay. These minibuses frequently depart from main road stops in Kande Beach. The fare is usually around 1,000 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Once you arrive in Nkhata Bay, ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to the Odiodi Greenbelt area. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the river, following local signs or asking residents for directions.
