Car
If you are traveling by car from Mangochi town, head south on the M5 highway. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach Namiasi Fishery Drive. Turn left onto Namiasi Fishery Drive, and Skinny Hippos Lodge will be located on your right-hand side. Make sure to keep an eye out for the lodge's sign, as it is easy to miss.

Public Transportation
To reach Skinny Hippos Lodge via public transportation, you can take a minibus from Mangochi town heading towards Monkey Bay. When you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Namiasi Fishery Drive. The fare should be around 500 MWK. Once you get off, walk along Namiasi Fishery Drive for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Skinny Hippos Lodge on your right. Be sure to ask locals for directions if you have trouble finding it.
