    From the center of Mangochi, start at the Mangochi Market. Head south on the main road (M5) towards Zomba. Continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the M842 road. At the junction, turn left onto M842 road. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass a few small villages and scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Williams Falls. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating the entrance to Williams Falls on your right. Follow the path that leads to the falls.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the central area of Mangochi. Head south on the M5 road towards Zomba. After about 3 kilometers, look for the M842 road on your left. Turn onto M842 and continue cycling for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small local communities. Keep an eye out for the sign to Williams Falls on your right. Follow the path indicated to reach the falls.

  • Public transport (Minibus)

    From the center of Mangochi, go to the minibus station and catch a minibus heading towards Zomba. Inform the driver that you need to get off at the M842 junction. The minibus ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you reach the junction, disembark and walk along the M842 road for about 5 kilometers. Look for the sign to Williams Falls on your right. Follow the path to reach the falls.
