    From Mulanje Massif, head northwest on the main road (T3) towards the town of Mulanje. Continue on T3 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Chitakale. Take a left turn onto the T378 road. Drive for approximately 15 kilometers, and you will arrive at the entrance of Lake Malawi National Park. Ensure you have some cash for the entry fee, which is typically around 10,000 MWK for foreigners.

    To reach Lake Malawi National Park via public transport, first take a minibus from the Mulanje bus station to Chitakale. The fare should be around 1,000 MWK. Once in Chitakale, transfer to another minibus heading towards Mangochi and ask the driver to drop you off at the T378 junction. From there, you will need to walk about 15 kilometers to the park entrance or negotiate with a local for a taxi or motorbike ride, which may cost around 5,000 MWK.
