Walking
From the heart of Little India, head towards Lebuh Queen, which is the main road you can find easily. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Penang. Turn right onto Jalan Penang and continue walking for about 400 meters. Then, take a left onto Jalan Padang Kota Lama. You will see signs leading you towards Padang Kota Lama (Esplanade) as you approach the waterfront. The Esplanade is a large open space with beautiful views of the sea.

If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from Little India. Head to the nearest bus stop on Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, which is about a 5-minute walk from Little India. Look for buses that head towards the Esplanade. Check the bus schedule, as the frequency may vary. The bus fare is approximately RM1.50 to RM2.00. Once you reach the bus stop at Padang Kota Lama, you will see the Esplanade directly in front of you.
