If you are starting from the Kota Bharu Central Market (Pasar Besar Kota Bharu), exit the market and head southeast on Jalan Masjid towards Jalan Kebun Sultan. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Jalan Dato Pati. Turn left onto Jalan Dato Pati and walk for another 300 meters. You will see Istana Kota Lama on your right at D1, Bandar Kota Bharu, 15050 Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
