Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the historical center of Malacca, start at Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat). Head south until you reach the junction with Jalan Gereja. Take a left onto Jalan Gereja and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Banda Hilir. Turn right onto Jalan Banda Hilir. Continue straight, and you will see signs directing you to Bukit Melaka. It is a short walk from here, and you should reach Bukit Melaka in about 20-30 minutes.

  • Public Bus

    From the Malacca Sentral Bus Station, look for bus number 17 or 18 that goes towards Banda Hilir. Board the bus and stay on for about 20-25 minutes. Get off at the Banda Hilir stop, which is near the A Famosa fort. From the bus stop, you can walk towards Bukit Melaka. It is only about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the Jonker Street area. Once you have your bicycle, head towards Jalan Gereja and then turn onto Jalan Banda Hilir. Follow the road signs to Bukit Melaka.
