Water Taxi
To reach Cocohut Resort located at Long Beach on Perhentian Kecil Island, you will first need to get to Kuala Besut Jetty on the mainland. If you are traveling by car, you can drive to Kuala Besut, which is approximately 1 hour from Kota Bharu (the nearest major city). Parking is available at the jetty for a fee of around RM 10-20 per day. If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Kota Bharu to Kuala Besut, which costs around RM 30 and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Kuala Besut Jetty, buy a ticket for a water taxi to Perhentian Kecil. The boat ride takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around RM 30-40. Ask the boatman to drop you off at Long Beach; Cocohut Resort is a short walk from the drop-off point.
