Once at the jetty, park your car in one of the designated parking areas (parking costs approximately RM10-15 per day). Purchase a ferry ticket to Pulau Perhentian Besar from one of the ticket counters at the jetty. The ferry ride takes about 30-45 minutes.

To reach the Perhentian Islands via public transport, you can take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Besut. Buses depart regularly from various bus terminals, such as Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). The bus journey takes approximately 10-12 hours, costing around RM35-50. Once you arrive in Kuala Besut, head to the jetty and buy a ferry ticket to Pulau Perhentian Besar. The ferry ride takes about 30-45 minutes.
