If you are driving from the city center of Kuala Terengganu, head southeast on Jalan Sultan Ismail toward Jalan Kampung Tiong. Continue straight onto Jalan Paya Bunga. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto Jalan Kampung Laut. Continue on this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jalan Tanjung, and follow the signs for the Kuala Terengganu Breakwater. After about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at the breakwater, located at the coordinates 5.3391° N, 103.1549° E. There is ample parking available nearby.

To reach Kuala Terengganu Breakwater using public transportation, start from the main bus terminal in Kuala Terengganu (Terminal Bas Kuala Terengganu). Take a local bus heading towards Tanjung, which should cost around RM 3. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Tanjung bus stop, then walk straight for about 1 kilometer towards the coast. The breakwater is located at 85Q3+JW, 20000 Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.
