Walking
If you are in Hulhumalé, start by heading towards the ferry terminal. The ferry terminal is located on the northern coast of the island. Walk straight along the main road, known as 'Hulhumalé-Hulhule Road', until you reach the ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, take a ferry to Malé, which is a short ride of about 15 minutes. The ferries run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. When you arrive in Malé, disembark and head towards the city center. The National Museum is located at 5GG6+V3C, Chaandhanee Magu, which is about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal. As you exit the terminal, take a left and walk along the waterfront, then turn right onto Chaandhanee Magu, where you will find the museum on your left.

Bicycle
For a more enjoyable ride, consider renting a bicycle in Hulhumalé. Start on the main road heading towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, lock your bike and take the ferry to Malé. After arriving in Malé, you can either walk or rent another bicycle to reach the National Museum. From the ferry terminal in Malé, cycle towards the city center by following the waterfront road. After about 10 minutes of cycling, turn right onto Chaandhanee Magu. The National Museum will be on your left side.

To reach the National Museum from Hulhumalé, take a public ferry from the Hulhumalé ferry terminal to Malé. Ferries usually operate every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Malé ferry terminal, exit towards the city center. Walk straight for about 10-15 minutes along the main road until you reach Chaandhanee Magu. Turn right onto Chaandhanee Magu, and the National Museum will be on your left.
