Seaplane
The most common way to reach Jawakara Islands is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at MLE, you'll be greeted by resort staff who will assist you with check-in for your seaplane transfer. You'll then be escorted to the TMA seaplane terminal, a short bus ride from the international arrival terminal. The scenic seaplane journey to Jawakara takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Typical cost: Roundtrip seaplane transfers are approximately USD 460 per adult and USD 220 per child (2-11 years). This cost is usually charged separately from the accommodation booking. Note that seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (06:00 to 18:00). If your international flight arrives outside these hours, you may need to arrange an overnight stay in Malé.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Madivaru Airport (LMV), followed by a speedboat transfer to Jawakara Islands. After arriving at MLE, you'll be guided to the domestic terminal for your flight to Madivaru, which takes about 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Madivaru Airport, a speedboat will take you to Jawakara Islands, a journey of approximately 40 minutes. Typical cost: The cost for a domestic flight can vary, but expect to pay around USD 150-300 per person. The speedboat transfer is usually included in the overall transfer package. Note that domestic flight schedules may vary, and it's essential to book in advance through the resort to ensure a smooth transfer.
