Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Malé City Centre, make your way towards the eastern side of the area. Head east on Majeedhee Magu, which is the main road. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Lonuziyaarai Magu. Turn left onto Lonuziyaarai Magu and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The Old Friday Mosque Minaret will be on your right, marked by its distinctive architectural style.

    If you are near the Maldives Islamic Centre, exit the front of the centre and head south towards the main road. Walk towards Majeedhee Magu and take a right. Continue straight for approximately 7 minutes until you reach the intersection with Lonuziyaarai Magu. Turn left, and the Old Friday Mosque Minaret will be a few minutes ahead on your right.

    From the Malé Fish Market, exit the market and head west towards the main road. Walk straight on Boduthakurufaanu Magu for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Majeedhee Magu. Turn right onto Majeedhee Magu and walk for another 5 minutes. When you reach Lonuziyaarai Magu, turn left, and the Old Friday Mosque Minaret will be on your right side.
