Walking
Veli Thoddoo Inn is located in the center of the island, approximately a 15-minute walk from the main tourist beach on the west side. From the inn, head west along any of the sandy roads, passing local homes and fruit plantations. Follow signs for 'Sunset Beach' or 'Tourist Beach'. The beach is marked by a fence made of dry palm leaves. There are no sidewalks, so be mindful of local traffic (mostly bicycles and scooters).

Bicycle
Most guesthouses, including Veli Thoddoo Inn, offer bicycle rentals. From the inn, follow the same directions as walking, heading west towards the main tourist beach. Biking is a popular way to get around the island, allowing you to explore the plantations and village at your own pace. Be aware that the roads are sandy, so some effort may be required. Typical bicycle rental: MVR 50-100 per day.

Speedboat from Malé Airport
The most common way to reach Thoddoo is by speedboat from Malé International Airport (MLE). Pre-book a speedboat transfer through Veli Thoddoo Inn or another guesthouse. Upon arrival at the airport, a representative from the guesthouse will meet you and escort you to the speedboat jetty. The speedboat ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Typical speedboat transfer cost: $35-$50 per person, each way.
