Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Victoria bus station, head east on Triq Il-Kbira towards the Citadel. Walk straight past several shops until you reach the entrance of the Citadel. Once inside, follow the paths leading uphill to Il-Bastjun ta San Mikiel.

  • Public Transport

    From various locations in Għarb, take bus number 41 or 42 towards Victoria. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Victoria bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the Citadel, about a 15-minute walk. Follow signs pointing to the Citadel to find Il-Bastjun ta San Mikiel within the Citadel complex. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.

  • Car

    If driving from Għarb, head southeast on Triq Il-Knisja towards Triq San Mikiel and continue straight. Follow the road to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Triq Il-Foss. After 1.5 kilometers, a sign indicates a left turn towards Il-Bastjun ta San Mikiel. Follow this road until you reach the Citadel in Victoria. Parking is available along Triq il-Belt and Triq San Gorg, costing around €1 per hour.
