    St. George's Square is located in the heart of Victoria (Rabat), making it easily accessible on foot from most points within the city. From the Citadel, head east, passing through the narrow streets until you reach the square. From Independence Square (It-Tokk), walk south. The Basilica's prominent dome serves as a visual landmark.

  • Public Transport

    The Victoria Bus Terminus is a short walk from St. George's Square. From the bus terminus, walk towards the town center. St. George's Square will be straight ahead. A single bus ticket costs €2.50 during the day and €3 at night, and is valid for two hours including transfers. Alternatively, a 7-day Explore Card offers unlimited travel for €25.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available at the Mġarr Ferry Terminal and the Victoria Bus Terminus. A taxi from Mġarr to St. George's Square typically costs between €12 and €20. The journey takes approximately 7 minutes. You can also pre-book a taxi.

  • Driving

    If driving, head towards Victoria, which is well-signposted from anywhere in Gozo. As you approach the center, follow signs for parking. The 'Parcheġġ Ċentrali' parking lot is a short walk from St. George's Square. Paid parking near the bus terminal costs around €2 for the day. An underground parking is planned to be constructed in Great Siege Square.
