Walking
From the Mdina Main Gate, head south on Triq Villegaignon. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq San Pawl, which will lead you towards the outskirts of Mdina. Follow the signs for 'Mdina Bastions.' After about 10 minutes, you will reach the edge of the fortifications where you can see the fields leading down to the coast. Continue walking on the path, and soon you will arrive at the Santa Marija Bay area, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the Mdina Main Gate.

Walking
If you are near St. Paul's Cathedral, exit the cathedral towards Triq San Pawl. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq San Martin. Continue walking straight until you reach the edge of the Mdina walls. You will see pathways leading down. Follow these paths, and in about 25 minutes, you will arrive at Santa Marija Bay. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Mdina Main Gate, walk to the nearest bus stop located just outside the gate. Take bus number 51 or 52 towards Rabat. After a 10-minute ride, get off at the 'Mtarfa' bus stop. From there, transfer to bus number 222, which will take you directly to the Santa Marija Bay. The total travel time, including walking and waiting, should be approximately 40 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for the latest timings.
