Getting There

Walking
From the Mdina Gate, walk straight down Triq il-Kbira, which will lead you into the heart of Mdina. Continue walking until you reach the end of Triq il-Kbira, where it meets with Triq Sant'Agatha. Turn left onto Triq Sant'Agatha and follow this road until you reach the corner where it intersects with Triq il-Muzew. At this point, you will be near the Mdina Cathedral. Continue straight onto Triq San Pawl, which will take you out of Mdina. Follow the road as it curves slightly to the left, and you will eventually arrive at the bus stop for Ghajnsielem.

Public Transport
From the Mdina Gate, head down to the bus stop located just outside. Look for the bus route to Ghajnsielem. Once you board the correct bus, enjoy the scenic ride. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Ghajnsielem bus stop, which is centrally located. From the bus stop, walk towards the direction of the main square, and follow the signs to L-Għar ta’ Bla Saqaf, which is a short walk from the square.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, exit Mdina through the Mdina Gate. Once outside, follow the bike lane along Triq il-Kbira, which will lead you towards the outskirts of Mdina. Keep following the road, and as it curves, head towards the direction of Ghajnsielem. The ride is approximately 3 km and takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Ghajnsielem, park your bicycle and walk to L-Għar ta’ Bla Saqaf, which is nearby.
