Getting There

Walking
Start at the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a popular spot in Valletta. Exit the gardens and head towards the main road (Triq Sant'Anna). Turn right onto the road and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see the entrance to the Valletta Waterfront ahead. From there, go down the steps towards the waterfront area. Once you are at the waterfront, continue walking along the promenade. You'll have views of the harbor and eventually reach Sliema Viewpoint, located along the waterfront. This path is scenic and should take about 15-20 minutes.

If you are starting from the main square in Valletta (Pjazza Teatru Rjal), head towards the National Museum of Archaeology. From there, continue walking straight until you reach the edge of the city walls. Find the pathway leading down to the waterfront. Follow this pathway down, and once you are close to the water, turn left and walk along the promenade towards Sliema Viewpoint.
