Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Wied il-Ghasri, start by heading east on Triq Wied il-Ghasri. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq il-Kullegg. Turn right onto Triq il-Kullegg and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq John Otto Bayer. Continue on this road for about 1.5 km, and you will find It-Tempji tal-Ġgantija on your left. There is parking available nearby.

    From Wied il-Ghasri, walk to the nearest bus stop at Triq il-Kullegg. Catch Bus 42 or Bus 43 towards Xagħra. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Ġgantija'. From the bus stop, It-Tempji tal-Ġgantija is a short 5-minute walk. Head east on Triq John Otto Bayer, and you will find the archaeological site on your left.

    If you prefer to walk from Wied il-Ghasri, head east on Triq Wied il-Ghasri until you reach Triq il-Kullegg. Turn right onto Triq il-Kullegg and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq John Otto Bayer. Continue walking for about 1.5 km, and you will arrive at It-Tempji tal-Ġgantija on your left. This walk should take around 30-35 minutes.
