If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Catoctin Mountain Park located at 14707 Park Central Road, Thurmont, MD 21788. From the entrance, continue on Park Central Road and make a left onto MD-77 West. Follow MD-77 for about 3.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road. Turn right onto Unnamed Road, and you will find the Blue Ridge Summit Overlook just a short distance down the road on your left. There is no parking fee to access the overlook.

Once you arrive in Thurmont, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Blue Ridge Summit Overlook.
