If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Eastern Shore, start by getting onto US-50 W toward Washington. Continue on US-50 W for approximately 25 miles until you reach the I-97 S exit toward Annapolis. Merge onto I-97 S and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 1B for I-695 N toward Towson. After about 5 miles, take exit 15B to merge onto US-29 N toward Columbia. Continue on US-29 N for approximately 8 miles, then take the exit for MD-99 W toward Ellicott City. Follow MD-99 W for 2 miles, and then turn right onto Baltimore National Pike (US-40). After about 2.5 miles, you will see Patapsco Valley State Park - Hollofield Area on your left. The address is 8020 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. There is a parking fee, so please have cash or a credit card ready for the entrance fee.
