From the center of Frederick, head south on North Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Patrick Street. Turn left onto East Patrick Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with South Jefferson Street. Turn right onto South Jefferson Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 15. Take a left onto Route 15 South. Follow Route 15 South for approximately 20 miles, then take the exit for US-30 towards Gettysburg. Merge onto US-30 and continue for about 7 miles until you arrive at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.

Public Transit
From downtown Frederick, walk to the Frederick Transit Station located at 100 South East Street. Take the MTA Maryland Bus #55 towards Baltimore. This bus will take you to the Point of Rocks station where you will transfer to the MARC Train. Board the MARC Train's Brunswick Line heading towards Washington, D.C. Get off at the Monocacy station. From there, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare service, which will take you directly to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.

If you prefer to bike, start from the downtown Frederick area and take the Monocacy River Trail heading south. Follow the trail along the river until you reach the junction with the Catoctin Mountain Park Trail. Continue on this path, which will lead you towards the Route 15 South. Once you reach Route 15, carefully navigate the bike path along the road until you reach the exit for US-30. Take US-30 towards Gettysburg, and the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center will be on your right at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
