Head southeast on E Middle St toward S Washington St. Turn left onto S Washington St and then right onto E Water St. Merge onto US-15 S and follow the signs for Frederick. Take the exit toward Gettysburg and continue on to E Confederate Ave. You will find the State of Indiana Monument located along E Confederate Ave. There is no parking fee at the battlefield, but be aware that parking can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the Gettysburg Ghost Tours shuttle or other local shuttle services that operate in Gettysburg. Check with the local visitor center for the latest shuttle schedules. Once you arrive at the designated stop near E Confederate Ave, the monument is a short walk from the shuttle stop. Walk east on E Confederate Ave, and you will reach the State of Indiana Monument in approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that shuttle services may have a small fare, typically around $5-$10.

For those already in the Gettysburg National Military Park area, walking to the monument is a great option. From the visitor center, head southeast on Taneytown Rd toward E Confederate Ave. Take a left onto E Confederate Ave and continue walking straight.
