If you are in downtown Hagerstown, start at the intersection of W Washington St and N Potomac St. Head south on N Potomac St for three blocks until you reach E Franklin St. Turn left (east) onto E Franklin St and walk until you hit S Burhans Blvd. Turn right (south) on S Burhans Blvd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum will be on your left at 296 S Burhans Blvd.

From the Hagerstown City Hall, take the Washington County Commuter Bus (Route 1 or 2) from the bus stop on S Potomac St. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the Burhans Blvd & E Franklin St stop. After getting off, walk south on S Burhans Blvd for about 0.2 miles, and the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum will be on your right at 296 S Burhans Blvd.
