After exiting the station, walk east along River Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 55th Avenue. Turn left onto 55th Avenue and walk about 0.2 miles to reach Lake Artemesia Natural Area located at 8200 55th Ave, College Park, MD 20740.

    From the Laurel Town Center, head south on Laurel Lakes Drive, then take a left onto Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). Continue biking on Route 1 for about 4 miles.
