Car
From the visitor center at Seneca Creek State Park, head southeast on MD-119 S (Great Seneca Highway). Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with I-270. Merge onto I-270 S towards Washington. After about 15 miles, take exit 4B for US-50 E toward Annapolis. Continue on US-50 E for about 5 miles, then take the exit onto New York Ave NW. Follow New York Ave NW for 1.5 miles, then turn left onto M St NW. The Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church will be on your right at 1518 M St NW, Washington, DC 20005.

From Seneca Creek State Park, take the Ride On bus route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Shady Grove Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for 15 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Transfer to the Yellow or Green Line and take it towards Branch Ave or Greenbelt respectively, getting off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station (1 stop). Finally, walk approximately 15 minutes northwest along M St NW to reach the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church at 1518 M St NW, Washington, DC 20005.
